It makes sense that they would like to host a monthly Food Truck event at their market since Great Food always goes together. Food Truck Friday will be the 1st Friday of the month. Laurenzo’s will stay open til 10PM, there will be Beer & Wine Specials as well as their famous Wood Burning Oven Pizza and Italian Desserts. Did I say music? Oh and one more thing…the Miami Food Trucks.

Baptist Hospital Children’s Health Day w/ Food Trucks
Posted by: | CommentsThe Baptist Hospital Children’s Health Day is now in its 13th year. “Our annual fair is a lot of fun for the kids, and they don’t even realize that they are learning about their own health,” said Randy Lee, chief operating officer of Baptist Children’s Hospital. “They will have fun participating in exciting learning activities, displays and health screenings that will teach them about health and safety.” Research has shown that children who already are familiar with hospital settings are less frightened and more comfortable if they become patients. And guess what? The Food Trucks will be there too showing their support!

Posted by: | CommentsThis being the 3rd annual Burger Beast Burgie Awards I thought I had to do something a little different. This year Magic City Casino will be hosting the event where we’ll have Burger Restaurants competing for the title of “Best Burger 2011″ and 10 Food Trucks competing for “Best Food Truck Burger 2011″. This will be decided by a panel of judges.
You’ll have an opportunity to buy burgers from 10 South Florida Burger Joints including Charm City Burger Company in Deerfield Beach, Gilbert’s 17th Street Grill from Ft. Lauderdale, Quickie’s Burger & Wings from Hollywood & Tobacco Road in Brickell. They will all be set up in tents ready to impress you with their burger greatness.
We’ll also be showing on a big screen courtesy of Pisano Entertainment one of my favorite documentaries, Hamburger America. George Motz (Hamburger America visionary and star of Travel Channel’s Made in America) who unfortunately can not make it out to the event will be filming an introduction to the film specially for the Burgies 2011.

Posted by: | CommentsGuess what friends? We are happy to announce that Ms. Cheezious will be able to spread their Cheese Love even more with their second truck, MC². Ms. Cheezious’ fans just can’t get enough (gratuitous Depeche Mode reference) of their cheezy goodness. Stylistically it will look like the trucks from Los Angeles. What does that mean? Well, you’ll have to wait until next month when the truck will hit the road. Stay tuned to the Ms. Cheezious Facebook and Twitter pages for more info.
